I'll be honest, I'm not very good at writing and this is my first foray into blogging. I thought I would start out by just telling everyone a little about myself. Seems to make sense, at least to me.
To start off my Wife and I live in Madison, WI. Madison is a great city we have plenty of friends and family around to keep us occupied. We just had our first baby roughly six weeks ago, William Robert Klein was born on July 13th. I think we're still in shock, he's amazing and every day brings new joys.
As a loyal Wisconsin guy my passions are UW sports, particularly football and the Green Bay Packers. I also consider myself a connoisseur of beer, cheese, and bratwurst. Outside of work we run a budding non profit for technology in education and when I can find time I help my Dad restore cars at our small shop.
Outside of family, I spend the majority of my time working for PDS. PDS is a technology company based out of Oconomowoc, WI, say that three times fast... I work within the CTO office as a Senior Technologist. We predominately focus on three core industries; Healthcare, Education, and Corporate. My primary role is to align with customers within those industries and develop solutions to solve their most critical needs. Innovation is the core driver behind my position, I have the freedom and flexibility to drive in whatever direction I see fit. I would say it's a dream job for me, I have been infatuated with technology and solving problems since I was a kid. I was lucky enough to meet my boss Austin Park, our CTO, over 12 years ago when he hired me as an intern. I've been given every opportunity to succeed and hope to pay that forward.
